FM radio

Works, including without headphones. Normally the headphone cable is the antenna; the Kompakt can use a short internal one instead.

Be realistic about it: a short antenna picks up far fewer stations, and how many depends entirely on where you are and how close the transmitters are. With headphones plugged in you get the usual reception.

Open FM Radio. The arrows step the frequency, the outer ones jump to the next station, and the heart saves it. The list button at the top scans for stations and lists what it finds; tap one to tune to it.
